Sound familiar?

Which of these is happening in your practice?

A growing practice can outpace its bookkeeping. Each of these problems can be fixed, and it starts with a free consultation.

Our books are months behind

The practice kept growing and the bookkeeping did not keep up. Now your tax preparer is asking for clean numbers.

We cannot tell what each deposit is

Insurance payments arrive in lump sums, card deposits land after fees, and patient payments come in through more than one system.

Practice and personal spending are mixed

Owner draws, personal charges and practice expenses sit together, so the profit in your reports is hard to believe.

We cannot see where the practice stands

Revenue has passed $1 million, but you still do not have a monthly profit and loss statement you trust.

Our services

How do we help healthcare and mental health practices?

Start with a cleanup, then move to monthly accounting so your books stay current. Or choose either one on its own.

Bookkeeping cleanup

A bookkeeping cleanup is a one-time project that corrects and completes your past records. We work through every month that is behind or wrong until your books are accurate and current.

  • Every bank, credit card and loan account reconciled to its statements
  • Miscategorized and duplicate entries corrected
  • Owner draws and personal charges separated from practice expenses
  • QuickBooks categories set up to fit how your practice earns and spends
  • Books brought current and ready for your tax preparer

Monthly accounting

Once your books are clean, we keep them that way. Each month we record and reconcile every transaction and send financial statements. A profit and loss statement shows what the practice earned and spent, and a balance sheet shows what it owns and owes.

  • Transactions recorded and categorized every month
  • Bank, card and loan accounts reconciled monthly
  • Monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet
  • Cash flow reporting so you can plan ahead
  • Accounts payable and receivable tracked

Fees are quoted after your free consultation, based on how many accounts and transactions your practice has and how far behind the books are.

What is a bookkeeping cleanup?

Do you need our patient or client records?

Every practice is different. The fee depends on how many accounts and transactions you have and how far behind the books are. We quote after your free consultation, and the agreed fee is written in your engagement letter before any work begins.
